Sanctuary Schools
The Sanctuary Schools campaign, launched by Juntos in March 2021, demanded changes in Philadelphia schools to create a safe, supportive environment for all students. I contributed illustrations and animations used to promote the campaign on social media.

We Came Out Here
An illustrated account of the 2020 racial justice uprisings. Mac Smiff, a Black organizer in Portland, explained: “We came out here dressed in T-shirts and twirling Hula-Hoops and stuff, and they started gassing us, so we came back with respirators, and they started shooting us. So we came back with vests, and they started aiming for the head. So we started wearing helmets, and now they call us terrorists. Who’s escalating this? It’s not us.” Source.
